Celebration of People

for Mi-Case

CREATIVE BRIEF

For three years, we’ve partnered with Mi-Case to bring their annual Celebration of People to life. But in 2025, something shifted. Instead of being led by a traditional brief, we were given something far more rare: full creative trust. The kind of trust that unlocks imagination, invites risk, and makes room for ideas that don’t exist on a checklist. What began as a request for branded swag became an opportunity to build something bigger — to give the weekend its own identity and design not just giveaways, but an experience rooted in appreciation, connection, and humanity.

The magic of the 2025 Celebration came from the extra 10% — those thoughtful, human details that can’t be measured or mandated. Personalized touches, unexpected moments, and intentional spaces for families and colleagues transformed the event into something people didn’t just attend, but felt. It became a cultural moment, a reflection of Mi-Case’s values, and a reminder that generosity and care can turn months of planning into memories that linger long after the day ends.

“Traditions like this help strengthen our company’s spirit and remind us that our greatest asset is — and will always be — our people.”

Rather than treating the swag as a box to check, we created a custom brand system for the Celebration of People — joyful, sun-washed, and nostalgic, inspired by Florida’s beach culture and the easygoing energy of a long weekend well spent. Warm colors, playful typography, custom illustrations, and a patch-and-sticker aesthetic replaced corporate repetition. Each item was designed to stand on its own: beach towels, playing cards, water bottles, waterproof bags, speakers, and sticker sheets that felt collected, not branded. Nothing disposable. Everything intentional. The goal was simple: design objects people would be excited to use, keep, and rediscover months later.

“I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the dinners to the custom memorabilia, which made each experience feel special.”

“I’m truly grateful to have been a part of this year’s events. The Sneaker Ball was exceptional—a unique experience I hadn’t encountered at a work event before.”

That philosophy extended into the experience itself. At the Sneaker Ball, guests became part of the making — choosing from 12 custom screenprinted t-shirt designs, pressing their own graphics on-site, and applying embroidered patches at a live patch bar. The swag became personal and the weekend became a culture moment. The impact of an experience like this can’t be tallied on a spreadsheet. Wonder, connection, and the feeling of being truly seen rarely can be. In 2025, the Celebration of People proved that when you lead with trust, intention, and imagination, the things no one asks for often become the very things no one forgets.
